This project utilizes an immersive virtual documentary-style exhibition to present the growth journey of the fictional female character "Zhaodi," exploring the relationships between female identity, social transformation, and collective memory.

 

Based on research from the documentary "Chinese Women in the 20th Century," I conducted a systematic review of the century-long journey of Chinese women's social liberation. Through eight exhibit, the exhibition reveals the challenges and breakthroughs women experienced in different historical periods. The project reflects on modern female identity, emphasizing the continuity and reconstruction of women's cultural memory, inspiring viewers to contemplate women's resilience and social change.
